| Shipping out of the province | |
| October 10-13th, 2005 | |
Leaving Montreal, QuebecIt is with a sad face that I'll be leaving the lovely island of Montreal, Quebec. I've spent 3 years (on/off) living in this province and there have always been exciting things to see, but, the show must go on. My montreal flat will be abandoned as of November 26, 2005. A great town with alot of hustle/bustle and a great ambiance, but not the place I think I'd subject my family to growing up in. Moving to OntarioAs of the end of November, I will officially take residence in my new home in Ajax, Ontario. During this week I purchased a rather nice John Boddy townhome near the north end. This house will serve me well by providing a roaming space for my dog and even a change of scenery for my fish. My jobI will remain with Net Integration Tech, however, I will report into the Markham office. Continuing on as a software manager in the Markham office I will be ready to take on whatever new team I shall acquire. |
| A waterpump change in the '98 Dakota | |

|
At approximately 128,000kms, the waterpump in my '98 Dodge Dakota died. With the help of my car savy girlfriend Amanda, I replaced the waterpump with a new one from Napa. Including parts, the total came to around 171$ (new heater hose bypass tube and RTV sealed gasket). Not a bad price considering the dealer does it for ~425$ and a side shop will do it for about 350$. |

Wishing Karen Klink a happy birthday. It's not fun having birthdays while you're pregnant; wait, what do I know about that??! |
| Mainsite updated | |

In an effort to add some sanity to kolonel.ca I've decided to finish a mainpage. This will include links to many other sites which I deem convenient to people visiting this site in the first place. Another notable is that it may contain tiny images of things I think about whilst I'm programming this site.
This is the first place that I plan on going as soon as I can finish this site .. man, would I ever give to be in a nice warm place with Amanda right now rather than sitting in my apartment awaiting it to grow cold. I think that as Canadians we can all attest to how fast it gets cold and miserable. It's not that it's miserable when it's cold, it is miserable when it is in-between. There's days of snow, sleet, rain, hail and everything else you can have thrown at you, and those are the days you really debate throwing in the towel and just staying at home playing XBOX© in your boxers. Yeah, that's just what I think I'll do ..
